The Deputy Minister of Police, Ms Polly Boshielo will officiate over proceedings at the South African Police Service(SAPS) passing out parades where 1812 graduates who have been undergoing a six-month Introductory Police Learning Development Programme (IPLDP) will graduate.
This is the first batch of the 2024/2025 project 10 000 cohort to graduate from police college and they include graduates from various disciplines including law, policing, forensic science, Information Technology, Public Management, to mention a few.
These newly trained Constables will be deployed at various police stations across the country to capacitate and boost grassroots level of policing.
These parades will take place simultaneously at various SAPS academies.
The Deputy Minister of Police, Ms Polly Boshielo will officiate at the largest parade of 779 graduates at Bhisho SAPS Academy on Friday, 04 October 2024.
