MEC Mbali Hlophe hands over Gym and Sport equipment at Cosmo City, 27 Oct

Gauteng MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation Mbali Hlophe will use her today’s outreach programme in Cosmo City, to hand over Gym and Sport equipment as part of the Premier Community Games taking place at the local Multi-purpose Centre.

 

The Cosmo City Premier’s Community Games featuring football and netball kickoff today, at 1pm at the Cosmo City Multi-purpose Centre.

 

The games are part of Gauteng’s mission to use sport to build socially cohesive communities and importantly, encouraging the public to vaccinate and live a healthy life.

 

The equipment hand-over by MEC Hlophe is also part of rebuilding and strengthening the community sport and recreation programme including resuscitating talent identification following inactivity due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
