Manenberg SAPS detectives are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a male victim approximately 30 years of age who was shot and wounded at about 21:00 on Sunday 15 January 2023.

The victim who was found next to the canal in Arries Road, Surrey Estate, sustained a gunshot wound to his head.

He is currently in a stable but serious condition and was put in an induced coma to assist with his recovery.
