A 37-year-old Namibian man was on Friday arrested after he was found in possession of drugs valued at N.dollars 99 250 in Swakopmund in the Erongo Region.
A crime report issued by the Namibian Police Force on Sunday stated that the suspect was apprehended at about 17h00 at an Ocean View fuel service station and that he was found with two big parcels of skunk cannabis.
In a similar incident on Saturday, a 19-year-old Namibian boy was arrested after he was found with drugs valued at N.dollars 810 at Block A in Rehoboth.
The police stated that the suspect was arrested at about 00h40 and that he was found in possession of skunk cannabis of 15 grams and one half Mandrax tablet.
Similarly, a 49-year-old Namibian man was on Friday arrested after he was found with drugs during a policing activity at Nkurenkuru in the Kavango West Region.
The police stated that the suspect was arrested at about 17h00 and that the total value of the drugs is still unknown at this stage.
Police investigations in the various matters continue.
