The Namibian Police Force ( NamPol ) in the Oshikoto Region arrested a 36 – year – old man who was caught in the act during a break – in at a stationery store . According to Oshikoto Regional Commander , Commissioner Theopoline Kalompo – Nashikaku on Monday , the incident happened on Sunday around 01h40 at Tsumeb Waltons store . ‘ It is alleged that two male suspects cut the zinc roof of the store open and gained entrance into the building ,’ Kalompo – Nashikaku said . While the suspects were still inside the shop , an intelligence – led operation was conducted by NamPol together with the crime prevention forums , that led to the arrest of one suspect , while the other fled the scene . Investigations continue .
