NORTHERN CAPE – On Tuesday, 21 December 2021 at about 16:00 a 27-year-old man was arrested for dealing in drugs in Kuruman.
It is reported that members of Kuruman K9 and Kuruman Crime Prevention unit searched a house after receiving a tip off.
Upon searching the house, the members discovered 190 tik pipes, tik to the value of R16 260-00, mandrax tablets to the value of R9000-00 and undisclosed amount of cash were confiscated.
The suspect will appear in the Kuruman Magistrates Court soon.
The Acting JTG District Commander, Brigadier Johnny Besnaar commended Kuruman K9 and Kuruman crime prevention members for their dedication and commitment in ensuring that drug dealers are arrested. Police will tighten the grip on crime during this period and beyond.
