LIMPOPO – The South African Police Service in Lulekani outside Phalaborwa in the Mopani District are investigating a case of missing person, after a 42-year-old woman Julia Khosa from Kurhula Settlement went missing.
It is alleged that on 05 February 2022 at around 18:00, the victim left her residential area of Kurhula Section when she disappeared together with her female toddler of 4 months.
The child was found on the same day dumped on the side of Matiko Xikaya Street still wrapped with a blanket.
The child was immediately taken to Maphutha Hospital for medical assistance.
During her disappearance, she was wearing a white t-shirt.
Police conducted search operations in the surrounding areas including where she frequently visited without any success.
