On 4 September 2021, the following liquor was confiscated during Operation Vhuthu Hawe in Ngcobo.

* 56 x 750 ml Black Label beers

* 43 x 500 ml Savanna beers

* 2 x 750 ml Old Buck Gin

* 20 x 750 ml Castle Light beers

* 2 x 750 ml Flying Fish beers

A 20-year-old suspect was issued with a fine for selling of liquor without a license, in the Manzana A/A Ntshobela locality of Ngcobo.

The Acting Chris Hani District Commissioner Brigadier Magqashela applauded Lt Col Sali, Station Commander of Ngcobo and the team for the successes made, as liquor remains a high contributing factor in the increase of murders within the policing precinct.
