LEBOWAKGOMO – A search operation have been launched by the Lebowakgomo SAPS following the disappearance of a 23-year-old mentally challenged woman, Koketjo Mathibela Thabang from Ga-Marishana village.
The victim is reportedly a mental patient and she went missing last year on 27 December 2021 after she was admitted for treatment at New Generation Church in Ga-Mphahlele, Lenting village
Koketso allegedly left her room wearing a gown with the intention to use the ladies room when she unexpectedly jumped over the fence and ran away from the premises.
Church members discovered her gown at the fence and she was last seen wearing a khakhi tightfit skirt, red and white T-shirt with green sandals.
Efforts to locate the victim at relatives and surrounding areas were not successful.
