Law enforcement agencies in Gauteng continue relentlessly with operation O Kae Molao

The police in Gauteng continue to intensify the O Kae Molao Operations which are aimed at reducing levels of crime and ensuring that the authority of the State is asserted.

The multidisciplinary  operation which is conducted simultaneously throughout the province saw a score of suspects being arrested for various crimes such as murder, rape, possession of drugs, possession of unlicensed firearms, ammunition,  assault GBH, attempted murder and theft including illegal immigrants who will be processed by Home Affairs.

Meanwhile in Jeppestown, an intelligence driven operation led to the arrest of three suspects and seizure of two firearms after members swiftly acted on information about a robbery and kidnapping that happened at Derby Street. The three suspects were arrested after they tried to flee evade the police. Two firearms with filled off serial numbers were discovered and the victims were also found safe.

All arrested suspect will appear before different Magistrates’ Courts in Gauteng in due course.
