Langa SAPS nabbed two suspects during crime prevention operations

CAPE TOWN – Langa SAPS members were doing routine patrols on Monday, 26 September 2022 when they spotted a vehicle driving recklessly in Washington Street, Langa. The vehicle was stopped and a search led to the recovery of a firearm. A 27-year-old suspect was arrested, and he will appear in the Bishop Lavis Magistrate’s Court once he has been charged.

Meanwhile, the Crime Prevention Unit apprehended a 26-year-old male while conducting a stop and search operation at Winnie Mandela Drive, Langa. The suspect was found in possession of mandrax tablets. Once charged, he will make his court appearance in the Bishop Lavis Magistrate’s Court.
