KwaZulu-Natal: The KwaZulu-Natal Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA) has issued a call for matriculants to apply for its bursaries for the 2025 academic year. The initiative targets students residing in KwaZulu-Natal who are pursuing a National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in specific fields of study.
According to South African Government News Agency, Thulasizwe Buthelezi, the KwaZulu-Natal CoGTA MEC, announced that the bursaries will be awarded to 10 deserving students. The financial support will cover tuition fees, prescribed textbooks, accommodation, and all associated study costs. Successful applicants will be required to enter a bursary contract for the duration of their qualification.
Applicants must submit their statements of symbols and a letter of acceptance from any accredited South African university via email. The application process is facilitated through the email address Judith.mchunu@kzncogta.gov.za. The deadline for submission is set for Friday, 17 January 2025.
