QUEENSTOWN – An intelligence driven operation conducted by Crime Intelligence Unit members at Top Town yielded positive results.
Members received information about suspects from Port Elizabeth who are alleged to be involved in burglaries. Members quickly responded by checking with the station and established two housebreaking cases already reported. A Search was conducted and four suspects aged between 24 and 44 were arrested.
The following were items recovered:
Ford Ranger with ND registration was confiscated;
Five cellphones;
Jewellery and a
Side Cutter and roof sheet were recovered.
All suspects were arrested for possession of suspected stolen property and housebreaking and will appear before Queenstown Magistrate Court on Tuesday, 19 April 2022.
The Acting District Commissioner Brigadier Zuziwe Magqashela thanked members for their vigilance.
