On June 10, 2024, our Health Education Manager visited Kambia District for a day of supportive supervision of the nOVP vaccination campaign, focusing on social mobilization and risk communication.
The day began with a debriefing session at the DHMT conference hall in Kambia. Later, the Manager, along with the District Social Mobilization Coordinator, Social Mobilizer Supervisor, and Under-Five Clinic In-charge, visited Koya community in Magbema chiefdom. They addressed several refusals in this community, located 6km from Kambia town and known for its consistent challenges.
The Manager also stopped by Rokupr community and engaged with the team at Rokupr Wharf, finding no major issues. At Mile 18, they resolved some mobilization issues.
