Giyani SAPS conducted a crime awareness campaign during a church service

GIYANI – The South African Police Service in Giyani under Mopani district have yesterday, on Sunday 12 December 2021, conducted a crime awareness campaign at Jubille Church of God in Giyani Section F.

 

The SAPS team was led by (DPO) Warrant Officer Ndhlovu MP, accompanied by Social Crime Prevention Coordinator, Sergeant Mashava V and Limpopo Men for Change Public Relations Officer, Constable Ridgewell Rikhotso.

 

Constable Rhikhotso addressed the following:

 

Gender-based violence

Visit by Minister of Police General Bheki Cele to Malamulele on Monday, 13 December 2021.

Women and children abuse

Human rights

Sharing of stokvel savings and groceries

Stock theft

Buying stolen goods

He concluded by sharing the contact numbers of the Community Service Centre, Station Commander and District Commissioner.

 

Apostle Getty and VV Chauke in concluding the service, appreciated the police’ visit and promised to pray for the police during this difficult times.
