Free State Provincial Commissioner Lt Gen Baile Motswenyane today announced the promotion of 29 officers

FREE STATE – The ceremony took place at the SAPS Provincial Head Office, Metpol Building in Bloemfontein. In opening with scripture and prayer, Rev (Capt) Nibe said we must be thankful that in the midst of a pandemic where many people are losing jobs, God is still promoting others.

Deputy Provincial Commissioner for Management Advisory Services Maj Gen Len Singh addressed newly promoted officers about The Code of Conduct, resources, decision-making, service terminations, and discipline.

Deputy Provincial Commissioner Policing Maj Gen Lesia gave congratulory message on behalf of all commanders.

Amongst those who were congratulated is one of our own who will be joining National DPCI office as the Head of Communication on a Brigadier level. The Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen Baile Motswenyane and management wished Brigadier Thandi Mbambo who was the section head of our Media Relations in the province, all the best in her new post. The Provincial Commissioner in her address said she recalls how she used to travel and work with Brig Mbambo who was then a Constable. She’s happy to see the work of her hands blossom. Both Brig Mbambo and Col Nthatisi must represent the province well at national office.

All the appointed officers are expected hit the ground running and represent the management wherever they are deployed and deliver on their mandate as commissioned officers.

One could see joy on these officers faces when they were decorated with the new ranks by the Provincial a commissioner and the Deputy Provincial Commissioners.
