POTCHEFSTROOM - A 52-year-old accused is expected to appear in the Rustenburg Regional Court on Monday, 27 June 2022, facing a charge of fraud amounting to approximately R700 000.00.

According to information available at this stage, reports suggest that Fidelity Funds received several complaints from the Road Accident Fund (RAF) claimants whose payments were deposited into Diale's trust account. Allegedly, the said money did not reach the claimants. The matter was reported to the police for investigation and the accused who was practicing as an attorney during the alleged commission of the crimes between 2009 and 2011, was subsequently charged with fraud in June 2021.
