KWAZULU-NATAL – In the early hours of today Eshowe SAPS Task Team responded to the information received of a man who was in possession of a firearm.
They went to the given address at Mpumazi Mabambelela area. At around 5am they found the described African male in his house and they searched him. He was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm with the serial number filed off and ammunitions.
The 41-year-old suspect was then arrested on charges of possession of an unlicensed firearm, and possession of ammunitions.
He is expected to appear at the Eshowe Magistrate Court tomorrow.
