KWAZULU-NATAL – On the 15 December 2021, the Station Management , SAPS Wentworth all the components  members had bid a fond farewell to the Station Commander Colonel Van Zyl , who has taken early retirement and will be leaving the SAPS at the end of this month, 31  December 2021.

The Members who were in attendance spoke very well and thanked the Station Commander for being a good, loyal and professional leader and had the best fatherhood, mentorship skills. The members / speakers had wished the Colonel a fond farewell and all the best in his future endeavours.

The farewell was also graced by the Station Commander’s wife, who was very joyful and thankful to everyone who made this farewell a success.

Col Van Zyl also thanked the SAPS for affording him an opportunity to serve and protect the inhabitants of this beautiful country. Everyone present wished him well. Thank you Col Van Zyl for all you have done for Wentworth SAPS and your beloved South Africa
