OR TAMBO – Public Order Policing (POP) members re-arrested a 32-year-old escapee on Thursday 27 October 2022 along the R61 towards Mtata direction. Two firearms and ammunition were seized.
The 32-year-old escaped from Rooigrond Correctional Service Centre in Mahikeng during May 2018.
The District Commissioner, Major General Pumzile Cetyana applauded the members for being dedicated when executing their duties.
