ELANDSKRAAL - A substance abuse awareness campaign was conducted on Thursday, 24 March 2022 at Leratong Disability Center in the Elandskraal policing area.
The Social Crime Prevention Coordinator, Sergeant Bapela and Vispol Commander, Warrant Officer Molatjane collaborate with other stakeholders during the campaign.
They comprised of the Elandskraal Junior Station Commander Anneya Hlongo, Victim Empowerment Centre (VEP), Home Base Care and the Departments of Health, Social Development and Correctional Services.
The community was addressed about substance abuse, gender-based violence and domestic violence.
Lastly, two hundred and fifty pamphlets in relation to substance abuse were distributed to members of the community.
