South African Police Service in the Eastern Cape carries mixed feelings as they lose the retiring Provincial Head for Visible Policing, Brigadier Malibongwe Wilberforce Ntsabo, who served the organisation with discipline and diligence in different environments throughout his career since 1985. Brigadier Ntsabo will be retiring on the 31st August 2021.
Brigadier Ntsabo described himself as industrious and energetic person who worked tirelessly for South African Police Service without complaining. He believes that he has accomplished the task that was given to him by the State.
The retiring Provincial Head thanked the Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner for her leadership. “You amazed me with your wisdom, your insight and your talent. I treasure the time we shared together in this province. You are going to make a significant impact in our country,” he said. Brigadier Ntsabo concluded by appreciating everyone who contributed in his career in the South African Police Service.
Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Liziwe Ntshinga described the retiring Commander as a disciplined, committed and energetic leader who had unique influence in the operational activities in the Eastern Cape Province. “We thank you for your operational expertise and unique influence in the operational activities in our Province. Your commitment in the service has not gone unnoticed,”- she praised
Lieutenant General Ntshinga further applauded Brigadier Ntsabo for embracing and living Vision RRR in ensuring service delivery and transformation of the service. He was also commended for his efforts towards development of young members by embracing Junior Management Core in the Province.
