EASTERN CAPE – Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Nomthetheleli Mene led Provincial Senior Management as they visited different police stations around OR Tambo District on Tuesday, 8th February 2022.
The visits aimed at assessing and monitoring well-being of members on the ground, as well as respective environments in which they operate, in an effort to enhance service delivery.
Wherever she goes, the Provincial Commissioner reiterates significance of improved and satisfying services at Community Service Centres in all police stations, to ensure public approval. She is also concerned about discipline of members in operationalising Batho Pele Principles that aim to enhance quality and accessibility of services by improving efficiency and accountability to the recipients of such services.
Lieutenant General Mene is determined to continue visiting all police stations across the Eastern Cape Province, in an effort to ensure that foot soldiers are effectively servicing and protecting communities in their respective environments.
