ZWELITSHA – Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Nomthetheleli Mene visited a number of police stations around Sarah Baartman District this week, where she personally engaged with management and foot soldiers.
At all the police stations, the Provincial Commissioner reiterated efficient utilization of physical and human resources in an effort to enhance service delivery. She also expressed her concern about client friendly environment and professional service at all Community Service Centres to ensure community satisfaction and promote corporate image of the South African Police Service.
As part of her Vision- Operation Sikhona tour of the province, wherever she goes, Lieutenant General Mene always promotes her “Be present in your presence” motivation to encourage every member of the service to make a difference in their respective environments.
The Provincial Commissioner is determined to continue visiting stations across the Province to look at different environments in which the foot soldiers operate.
