Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner celebrates Women’s Month with retired women

Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant Liziwe General Ntshinga joined team of Provincial Supply Chain Management as they converged at Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve in Chintsha to celebrate Women’s Month with retired women who served the department with loyalty and discipline. The event took place today, 27th August 2021.

 

The component set a date to spend time and celebrate as they bid farewell to the following women who were part of their team:

– Brigadier Irene Wolvaard

– Colonel Nonzwakazi Njoba

– CPAC Nomda Hokwana and

– CPAC Ntombizodwa Marwanqa

 

The Provincial Commissioner expressed her excitement for joining the celebratory farewell ceremony, and indicated that the timing was appropriate and perfect, as the whole nation is celebrating the role of women in different environments and societies. “I am happy to form part of this kind of celebration, where women who made a mark in the organisation are brought together for appreciation. The timing is appropriate and perfect, as the entire nation is celebrating the role played by women in different environments. I know each and every one of these retirees, and they have all worked diligently in enhancing service delivery in this province,” she said.

 

Lieutenant General Ntshinga utilised the platform to encourage harmony, unity and love in the workplace. “Let us ensure and maintain harmony, unity and love in our respective working environments. Love one another. Complement one another. Cherish one another,” she concluded

 

Provincial Head for Supply Chain Management, Brigadier Samkelo Genqese, thanked the Provincial Commissioner for honouring the function, and further acknowledged her motivational words.
