Drug dealer caught in Seaview

Yesterday afternoon, police officers from the Provincial Drug and Firearm Unit acted on information about a man who was transporting drugs in his vehicle at Seaview in Bellair.

 

The identified vehicle was intercepted on Strathlyn Road in Seaview and a man was found in the vehicle. The suspect’s vehicle was searched and police found four plastic bags of cocaine powder, two plastic bags of crystal meth, four large moons of rock cocaine and 12 pieces of rock cocaine.

 

The recovered drugs are valued at R10 000-00. The 35-year-old suspect was placed under arrest for possession as well as dealing in drugs. He is appearing in the Durban Magistrates Court today.
