DURBAN – Yesterday morning at 04:30, police officers from the Provincial Organised Crime Unit assisted by the Special Task Force executed a search warrant at Ngcongco area in Melmoth.
The team of police officers proceeded to the identified homestead where a search was conducted. Upon searching the house, police found 678 blue and white capsules of heroin, several packets and silver foils of heroin. The total value of the recovered drugs is R22 600-00. A 44-year-old suspect was placed under arrest for dealing in drugs. The suspect is appearing before the Melmoth Magistrates Court today.
