Commuters are advised that the City of Cape Town will implement a detour system at the traffic circle at the intersection of Main Road and Kommetjie Road in Fish Hoek as from Wednesday, 6 April 2022, to accommodate roadworks.

Residents and businesses are kindly requested to note that the detour will have an impact on traffic flow and commuting times. Commuters are also advised to avoid travelling to Simon’s Town via Fish Hoek, and to use alternative routes where possible.

The detour will be implemented at the traffic circle at the intersection of Main Road and Kommetjie Road between 09:00 and 16:00:

• From Wednesday, 6 April 2022 until Friday, 8 April 2022

• The detour may be extended, pending inclement weather and rain

The diversion of traffic is needed while the traffic circle is being resurfaced.
