Despatch detectives seek next of kin of two murder victims

GQEBERHA – SAPS Despatch detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing the next of kin of two victims allegedly murdered in separate incidents in November 2021.

 

In the first incident, the body of an adult male was found lying next to a house in the Bayland informal settlement at about 07:30 on 15 November 2021. The deceased between the ages of 25-30 years old was severely assaulted. According to the local people, he is only known as Simphiwe. He is about 1,8m in height and heavy in stature. At the time of his death, he was wearing a green T-shirt, blue jeans and blue and white Adidas takkies.

 

In the second incident, at about 18:55 on 25 November 2021, the decomposed body of an unknown male was found in bushes in Perseverance. The deceased is also between the ages of 25 and 30 years old and is about 1.75 m in height. He is medium built. He was last dressed in a blue jersey, black jeans and blue takkies.  The deceased was found with his hands tied behind his back.

 

In both of the above cases, murder dockets are under investigation.
