Delft police executed search warrants on Wednesday 04 September 2024 which resulted in the detention of two males on charges of dealing and possession of drugs in isolated incidents. The members approached a house in Munwa court, Leiden and searched the premises. The occupants became unruly, but the dedicated police members stood their ground and were not disturbed in any way. They fulfilled their mandate by executing the search warrant and confiscated a consignment of drugs and cash which resulted in the arrest of an adult male on a charge of dealing in drugs. The members proceeded to another address in N2 Gateway where they entered a house during an unannounced disruptive operation and ensued with a search. A scuffle ensued when the police members found an unidentified man in possession of cannabis and methamphetamine. They stood their ground and detained the adult man for the possession of drugs. Once charged the suspects are expected to make their respective court appearances in the Bellville Magistra tes' court on the mentioned charges. Source: South African Police Service
