Otjiwarongo: The 19 – year – old man who was stabbed to death at Otjiwarongo by two unknown attackers Monday night , has been identified as Brave Hangula . Namibian Police Force ( NamPol ) community affairs officer , Warrant Officer Olivia Haihambo , in an interview with Nampa on Wednesday said Hangula had a single stab wound on his neck . It is alleged that Hangula and his three friends were going home from their extra classes around 20h29 on Monday when they were stopped by two unidentified men who demanded cannabis from them . After the victims said they do not have cannabis , the men forcibly searched them , said Haihambo . One victim surrendered his cellphone to the attackers , while Hangula and two others fled on foot in different directions . The men chased after Hangula and caught up with him before allegedly stabbing him once in the neck . He died on the spot , Haihambo said . The Otjozondjupa police called on anyone with information that might lead to the arrest of the attackers , to contact them .
A murder case has been opened at the Otjiwarongo Police Station , and police investigations continue .
