DCPI holds a transnational conference against drug trafficking

PRETORIA – The National Head of the Hawks, Lieutenant General Godfrey Lebeya with his entourage; the Provincial Heads with their Provincial Commanders of the Serious Organised Crime Investigation are hosting a Transnational Organised Crime conference against organised crime especially the trafficking of drugs.

 

A weeklong conference which started yesterday at the Capital Menlyn Maine comprises of the delegates from the United Kingdom National Crime Agency, United States Drug Enforcement Administration, United States Diversion on Precursor Chemicals, Brazil Federal Police, Australian Federal Police and Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The UK National Crime Agency is channelling the conference.

 

This global interactive is aimed at arming each other on ways to fight organised crimes especially the trafficking of drugs.

 

The Directorate is pleased with such an exposure which we believe will bear extensive fruits since we have seen a number of drug confiscations in our highways and harbours from the outside countries.
