The Director General, Human Resource the Management Office, Mr. Ansu Samuel Tucker has expressed gratitude to outgoing interns assigned to HRMO for their contributions and participations in the work of the office.
Addressing twenty nine interns from various tertiary institutions (FBC, MMTC and E, IPAM and UNIMTECH, after the successful completion of their internship, Mr. Tucker encouraged them to take their studies seriously as that will help them to contribute to national development when they will be employed in the service in future.
He reaffirmed Government’s commitment to create employment opportunities for it’s citizens when vacancies exist or the creation of new offices.
He emphatically stated that government workers who have abandoned their offices will be removed from the payroll to create employment opportunities for other citizens, especially new graduates.
The Director General informed them of the establishment of a policy for internship in MDA’S and ensured that HRMO will make it a commitmen
t to send reports on the conducts and performances of interns assigned to MDA’S, to their respective tertiary institutions.
In an emotional mood, an intern from FBC, Alpha Bundu expressed profound appreciations to the entire staff of HRMO for exposing them to a work environment and treated them kindly; but are sad to leave at the moment.
