Transport Minister Barbara Creecy will deliver the opening address at the Southern African Transport Conference (SATC) on Monday in Pretoria. The conference provides a platform for national and international dialogue on transport as a socio-economic development priority. The platform also facilitates discussion and information exchange on the implementation of transport policy, strategy, and technology applications for all aspects and modes of transportation. This year's conference will focus on upskilling and reskilling the transport industry for current and future challenges. The SATC, which attracts about 700 delegates each year, will take place at the CSIR International Convention Centre from 9 am. Source: South African Government News Agency
