City hosts information session about Spatial Planning and Environment budget for 2022/23

The City of Cape Town’s Deputy Mayor and Mayoral Committee Member for Spatial Planning and Environment (SP&E), Alderman Eddie Andrews, is hosting an information session about the SP&E budget for the current financial year. Stakeholders and residents are invited to attend.

'Senior officials from the City's Directorate for Spatial Planning and Environment will give presentations on how the allocated budget for the current financial year will be spent. We will give more information about planned projects, and those already under way. Given that the funds are already allocated, this is an information session only for the public to get an idea of how we intend to spend the public money and where the projects are happening, or will be undertaken. This is a great opportunity to ask us questions for clarity,' said Alderman Andrews.

The meeting is taking place as follows:

• Thursday, 8 September 2022

• From 19:00 to 21:00

• City of Cape Town Council Chambers, 6th Floor, Podium Block, 12 Hertzog Boulevard, Cape Town

• Space is limited, kindly RSVP by Wednesday, 7 September 2022, by sending an email to: Jolene.Abrahams@capetown.gov.za

All stakeholders and residents are welcome to attend.
