The City of Cape Town has finalised its logistics for the upcoming national vaccination weekend.
Spearheaded by the National Department of Health, the vaccination weekend between 1 and 3 October 2021, aims to reach at least 500 000 people countrywide.
The City will have a number of fixed and roving vaccination sites operating during this period, in the eight health sub-districts across the metropole.
This is the first time that weekend vaccinations will be widely available and we encourage residents who have not yet had the opportunity to get vaccinated to please make use of this opportunity.
To those who are still unsure about getting vaccinated, please reach out to your local health facility for advice and guidance, so that you may make an informed decision about your personal health and that of those around you.
