The City of Cape Town’s Ocean View customer office, located in the City’s Ocean View Housing Office is extending its operating hours to three days a week, from 08:00 to 15:00. As of this month, customers may visit the Ocean View office for three days during the week, but are reminded to continue using the convenient online and e-Services options for urgent business, where possible.
The City’s Ocean View office previously only operated once per week on Thursdays and is now open to members of the public on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 08:00 to 15:00. It is important to note that the office is not open to members of the public on weekends.
The City continues to give preference to elderly residents, disabled residents and pregnant women, among others at our customer offices across the metro. These customers are requested to move to the front of the queue so that they can be assisted. From there, City officials will do what they can to assist by expediting their business or providing safe seating if required. We thank residents for their support.
