On Thursday, 7 July 2022, the City’s Customer Relations Department (CRM) will be deployed at the Gustrouw Sports Ground, Broadway Boulevard in Strand, between 09:30 and 13:30.
The Customer Relations Department’s Mobile Office will assist with general municipal account enquiries including rates, sewage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries. They will also assist with enquiries relating to City Parks, Urban Waste, Property Management, Valuations, and service requests, such as pothole repairs or streetlight maintenance.
‘The Mobile Office is one of the ways we confirm our commitment to making our residents the centre of service delivery. We have well-trained staff that are equipped to engage our customers. Nothing beats face-to-face interaction. The staff will help solve problems and try their best to ensure residents leave satisfied. I encourage residents to please use this opportunity to ask questions about issues they need clarity about, be it how to read a municipal account or how to log a service request. Residents must please bring their IDs or municipal accounts to help ease the process,’ said the City of Cape Town’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
