BRITSTOWN - The Acting Deputy Provincial Commissioner for Crime Detection, Brigadier Nicky Mills commended Detective Sergeant Petrus Arnold from Britstown Detectives for his outstanding investigation that led to a 15 years’ imprisonment sentencing.
On 21 October 2021 Koleen Job (33) and a 46-year-old male was drinking at a friend's house in Proteaville, Britstown when the accused stabbed the 46-year-old male once in the chest.
The male died on the scene and the accused was arrested. Koleen Job was found guilty and sentenced on 16 August 2022 in the Britstown Regional Court.
The Police welcomes the sentence and once again commit to uproot gender-based violence in all its forms from our communities in the Northern Cape.
