Benoni Flying Squad members arrested three suspects and recovered four motor vehicles.
On Thursday, 26 September 2024 at around 12:00, members followed up on information that led to McGaghey Street, Parkrand. A 32-year- old suspect wanted for fraud on a Bela Bela case was arrested.
In a separate incident, two suspects aged 32 and 45 were arrested for possession of mandrax at Station and Goods Road, Brakpan.
The police also recovered four abandoned motor vehicles, a Beige BMW X3 at Rail Street, Leondale reported stolen on an Alberton case, a white Volkswagen Polo at Victoria Road, Brakpan reported hijacked on a Springs case, a white Ford Ranger at Station and Wenden Roads, Brakpan reported hijacked on a Dunnotar case and a white Range Rover at Pretoria Road, Boksburg reported hijacked on a Randburg case.
Investigation continues.
