Greenwood Park Detectives are appealing to the members of the community to assist in tracing and locating Njabulo Ndlovu (28). A warrant for his arrest was issued by the court.
On 5 January 2020, Greenwood Park SAPS were alerted to a body on Granite Avenue in Avoca Hills. When they arrived at the scene, they discovered the body of a 48-year-old woman lying on the bed. She was strangled to death and the towel was put in her mouth.
It was established that a vehicle that was parked at the premises was also missing. Charges of murder and theft of motor vehicle were opened for investigation at Greenwood Park SAPS. The deceased was identified as Ntombifuthi Regina Chivambu, the step-aunt to the suspect.
The suspect is also sought for another case of kidnapping that was opened at Highflats SAPS and is being investigated by the Port Shepstone FCS Unit. It is alleged that the same suspect kidnapped a 15-year-old during December 2019.
