Assist Tubase police to find missing elderly man

LIMPOPO – The South African Police Service in Tubatse, require public assistance to locate a 65-year-old man, Josias Mofana from Bothashoek village.

 

Allegedly, the man left home with his wife to attend a funeral at the same village on Friday, 19 November 2021 at about 19:45. While on the way, the elderly man decided to return home and his wife proceeded to the funeral.

 

The next day, on Saturday 20 November 2021 at about 14:30, his wife returned home and discovered that her husband was nowhere to be found and he left his cellular phone at home. Attempts to search for the victim at relatives and surrounding areas were also not successful.

 

The elderly man was last seen wearing a navy blue T-shirt with yellow stripes, grey trouser, blue tekkies and a khaki cap at the time of his disappearance.

 

Anyone with information that can assist to reunite the elderly man with his family is urged to contact the Investigating Officer, Colonel Mahlathini Ngele on 082 573 3645 or 013 216 8500 or Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or nearest police station or MySAPSApp.

 

Police investigations are continuing.
