In their pursuit of a safer environment for the communities, members of Bishop Lavis police arrested a suspect last night who was caught in possession of a 9mm pistol without a serial number and ammunition. He was detained on a charge of possession of a prohibited firearm and ammunition and is expected to make his court appearance in Bishop Lavis tomorrow.
In an unrelated police intervention, members of Wolseley police arrested three suspects after their vehicle was searched this morning which led to the discovery of an unlicensed 9mm pistol and ammunition. Once charged, the three suspects are expected to make their court appearances too.
