The Hawks team from the Durban Serious Organised Crime Investigation, Durban Metro Police Drug Unit and Crime Intelligence Unit arrested two suspects aged 34 and 45 for dealing in drugs at Chatsworth today.
Members received information about a notorious drug dealer in the area and an undercover operation was conducted. During the operation, 515 heroin capsules to the street value of approximately R6180 were found. The two suspects were placed under arrest and charged accordingly.
They are expected to appear in the Chatsworth Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 29 September 2021.
