NELSPRUIT - A body was recovered today, Wednesday 24 August 2022 at around 10:00 at Mgwenya River near Karino in Nelspruit.
According to the report, some members of the community came across the said body at the river then contacted the police in Nelspruit. Upon arrival the members discovered that the body was in a decomposed state. Preliminary investigation has also revealed that it was a body of a man whose hands were tied with a rope behind his back, lying dead on top of the rock. For now an inquest case has been opened with strong possibility of turning it into murder. His identity is unknown at this stage.

The Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela has called for members of the public to assist the police with any information regarding this incident.
