16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children Campaign continues at Dennilton

The Police in Dennilton conducted 16 Days of Activism for No violence Against Women and Children campaign on Sunday, 28 November 2021 at Makgakadimeng Village in the St John Apostolic Faith Mission Under.

 

The campaign led was by Sergeant Selala Inanda, Communication Officer of Dennilton accompanied by Warrant Officer Ntuli Elias, Sector 01 commander, Sergeant Matlala Rebecca, Sap13 Commander and Mr Ramoshaba Aliphios, Dennilton Community Policing Forum (CPF) Secretary.

 

The congregation were addressed about the following:

 

– Gender Based Violence

– Domestic Violence

– Sexual offences

– Substance Abuse

– Procedures of reporting abuse

– Human Trafficking

– Stokvel money

– Mob killings

– Missing Person

 

They were also encouraged to Break the Silence on Gender based violence. Contact details of the station and all relevant commanders were given to the attendees. Pamphlets on gender based violence, sexual offences and safety tips were distributed.
