POLOKWANE – The Police in Bolobedu led by the Station Commander Lieutenant Colonel Molokwane, Mr Mothupi from Office of the Provincial Secretariat, FCS Unit, Captain Baloyi, the station CPF Chairperson, Mr Lebopa and Communication Officer, Constable Khomotso Roseline Hlokwe conducted a 16 days of activism awareness campaign, on Tuesday, 07 December 2021 at Thekgo Old Age Centre in Maupa Village.
It started with members on parade at 07h30 followed by a candle lighting ceremony, led by EHW Service, Warrant Officer Letsoalo aiming to acknowledge those with Disability, HIV and AIDS and those who lost their lives to HIV and AIDS and gender-based violence.
Warrant Officer Letsoalo encouraged members to take care of their families’ well-being and to engage in team building with colleagues outside the work environment.
The campaign proceeded to Thekgo Old Age Centre where different Departments, Councillors and Tribal Authority were presented.

Gender-based violence
Human rights
Personal Safety
Rape
The Station Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Molokwane, urged community members not to take the law into their own hands, but to report any criminal activities and work together with the Police.
