10111 centre temporarily closed: Gqeberha

GQEBERHA – Please note that the 10111 centre in the Nelson Mandela metro is temporarily closed due to technical fault with a computer at one of the workstations.

It is alleged that at about 17:45, personnel in the centre noticed smoke emitting from the computer and immediately doused it with a fire extinguisher. No fire was started however the fire department was summoned as a precaution.

The computers are interlinked therefore the centre has been closed as a precautionary safety measure until a thorough assessment/investigation is conducted as to the cause of the smoke.
