Yesterday, the Zululand Stock Theft Task Team followed up information regarding 12 cattle that were stolen at a farm in Gluckstadt.

It is alleged that on 24 May 2021 at a farm in Gluckstadt, a total of 12 cattle were taken from a grazing camp. The information led the team to a game reserve in Mawane where seven cattle and a calf were recovered.

A further search was conducted inside the game reserve and police discovered a nicely built fence kraal where a cow and a calf were found locked inside the said kraal. All ten cattle were positively identified by the lawful owner. The police are still searching for the suspects and the outstanding cattle.
