On Sunday, 08 August 2021 at about 21:45 members were officially on duty at N3 Roadblock Harrismith when they stopped a white Toyota Quantum travelling from Johannesburg to Durban.
The vehicle was searched and counterfeit goods were found stashed in boxes and plastic bags. Labels such as Adidas, Nike, Dolce and Gabbana, Polo, Puma, K Way, Ellese and Pringle were found in boxes and plastics with an estimated street value of about R250 000.
Three suspects were arrested for possession of counterfeit goods after they failed to produce proper documentation.
Suspects will appear in Harrismith Magistrates’ court soon.
